Question by : Insufficient cervix and working 10 hours a day during pregnancy?
am now 21 weeks pregnant, and got diagnosed with a insufficient cervix. The doc have me on 200mg utrogestan a day. I work from 7am to 5pm 5 days a week. I am getting a little scared now to be on my feet for so long. What can the complications be, and when should I stop working? I really need the income so is there any work from home opportunities “for mommies to be”?

Do you mean incompetent cervix? This is very dangerous. Im suprised your doctor hasn’t put you on bedrest. Most late term miscarraiges and stillbirths are due to this. In my opinion, talk to your doctor about it, see if there is any need for bed rest. I would think you would be on strict pelviv rest and bed rest, but then again im just a pregnant woman, not a doctor. Good luck hun and congrats!
